A Jerusalem day tour will take you to the heart of the city – the Old City, which is surrounded by a wall and divided into four quarters – Jewish, Armenian, Christian, and Muslim. The walls house the important holy sites of the three major religions: the Western Wall, holy to the Jews, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, holy to the Christians and the Dome of the Rock on the Temple Mount, holy to the Moslems.

Jerusalem tours will take you to visit the incredible archeological sites inside and surrounding the Old City, uncovering layer upon layer of Jerusalem’s 5000 years of history – such as the Western Wall Tunnels and the magnificent Cardo, while south of the Old City is the City of David, where King David established Biblical Jerusalem. Zion, with its Dormition Abbey built on the site that Mary spent her last night, and the Room of the Last Supper, where Jesus ate his last meal. To the east is the Mount of Olives, with its ancient Jewish cemetery and many famous churches such as Pater Noster, Dominus Flevit, and Gethsemane.

Museum lovers will find a myriad of rich exhibits at the Israel Museum, Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Museum, the Bible Lands Museum and the Islamic Art Museum and many others found in the city.
