Tour Overview

A great flight over a major part of Israel striking amazing views such as the coastal plain with Caesarea, the inner land, mountains and valleys, the Galilee with the city of Nazareth, Mt.Tabor, the Sea of Galilee and the Golan Height. Our flight will continue along the Jordan Valley all the way to the Dead Sea-the lowest point on earth, 400 meters below sea level, then we'll turn west and start climbing up flying over the wilderness of Judea and Jerusalem, enjoy a breathtaking view of the capital of Israel before heading back to the local airport.

Prices are quoted in USD per person and apply for foreign tourists.

A valid passport is required.

Confirmation of the tour is subject to helicopter availability and approved flight conditions.

Price is based on an average weight of 75 Kg for a man and 65 Kg for a woman.

We recommend to reserve and book this tour at least 96 hours in advance.

On Saturdays and Jewish holidays a supplement of $175 per helicopter applies.

Tour Itinerary

09:00 Pick up from the hotel, transfer to the nearby local airport.

10:00-We take off and fly north over the Coastal plain, enjoy the breathtaking view of Caesarea, see the ancient Roman and Crusaders city.

Proceed along the Kings highway leading to biblical Megiddo and the Jezreel valley one of the main farming areas of Israel known as the plain of Harmegedon.

Fly over the Lower Galilee, view of Mt.Tabor in a distance and the city of Nazareth with the church of the Annunciation in the heart of Jesus hometown.

Continue further east to the Sea of Galilee, fly over the Arbel cliff, enjoy the view of the lake and the Golan Heights, stop for a short break and refreshments at Capernaum.

Fly southward and along the Jordan valley to the lowest point on earth-the Dead Sea, view of Qumeran where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered in 1947, continue flying over the Judean desert back to Jerusalem, view of the city from a distance, return to the airport.

Transfer back to your hotel ending till 14:00.

FAQ

We organize helicopter tours in Israel. Most of the tours depart from the Tel Aviv area, however it is possible to organize trips departing from Jerusalem, and even from Eilat or the Galilee and Golan Heights. One of our favorite helicopter tours departs from Tel Aviv and flies to the Jerusalem area (flying over the Old City is not permitted, however one can get magnificent views of it from the helicopter) and then on to Masada, landing at the helipad, where one of our tourist vehicles and guides awaits you to take you for a walking tour of the mountain. A fun day including lunch at one of the Dead Sea hotels can be added to complete the day. On the return flight enjoy the magnificent views of the Dead Sea, and back to Tel Aviv.

You can order the Heli tour from most areas in Israel. The National Aviation Authorities, the National Park Authorization, the police and the IDF, must approve the locations.

The biggest Helicopter can carry up to 4 passengers, but no more than 230KG per flight.

We fly around Jerusalem. The airspace above the City of Jerusalem is a restricted flying zone.

Sure! You can take a chopper ride anywhere you wish to (restrictions apply as written in the above) and have a guide waiting at the spot for the touring part.
