Tour Itinerary

06:45-07:00 – Pick up from hotel in Eilat area.

Drive to Arava border crossing to Jordan, continue to Petra.

We arrive at Petra’s visitor’s center mid-morning leading to the Siq canyon which is the main entrance to Petra and one of Petra’s most impressive sights. The walk through the Siq takes approximately 1/2 hour ending with the breathtaking experience of first stepping into Petra. Considered one of the wonders of the world, Petra is an archaeological, anthropological and geological phenomenon.

Your guide will share the legends, truths and myths of this incredible city with you. We explore all the major sites and ruins en route. The walk through Petra is made easy by the endless sights and fascinating facts, all of which bring to life a history as colorful as the sandstone rock from which it was carved.

Having explored the highlights of Petra, we walk back to the entrance; participants may choose to hire the services of the local donkey, camel and carriage drivers for this final part of the tour. Following the tour we have a late but hearty buffet lunch, then rejoin our vehicle for the return journey to Eilat, arriving by evening at Eilat.

Returen to Hotel ending till 18:30-19:00

We organize helicopter tours in Israel. Most of the tours depart from the Tel Aviv area, however it is possible to organize trips departing from Jerusalem, and even from Eilat or the Galilee and Golan Heights. One of our favorite helicopter tours departs from Tel Aviv and flies to the Jerusalem area (flying over the Old City is not permitted, however one can get magnificent views of it from the helicopter) and then on to Masada, landing at the helipad, where one of our tourist vehicles and guides awaits you to take you for a walking tour of the mountain. A fun day including lunch at one of the Dead Sea hotels can be added to complete the day. On the return flight enjoy the magnificent views of the Dead Sea, and back to Tel Aviv.

You can order the Heli tour from most areas in Israel. The National Aviation Authorities, the National Park Authorization, the police and the IDF, must approve the locations.

The biggest Helicopter can carry up to 4 passengers, but no more than 230KG per flight.
