We begin with a breathtaking panoramic view of Jerusalem from the Promenade, overlooking the city from the south. We continue through East Jerusalem, driving around the Old City Walls passing Jaffa Gate, the New Gate and Nablus Gate, view of the Garden Tomb, proceed and ascend to Mt. Scopus overlooking the city from the north to enjoy the view of the city and the Wilderness of Judea.
Proceed to Mt.of Olives which borders the Old City of Jerusalem from the east, passing the Hebrew University and the Augusta Victoria Lutheran Center, enjoy a magnificent view of the Old City with the Temple Mt., the Golden Gate and the Churches on Mt. of Olives commemorating Jesus presence and footsteps in Jerusalem, visit the Chapel of Ascension and Pater Nostre Church.
Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane for a visit, see the garden with its ancient Olive Trees dating from the period of Jesus and the impressive Church of All Nations. Travel along the Ophel Road, view the Kidron Valley with its’ ancient Tombs dating from the period of the 2nd Temple, the South Wall Excavations and the City of David, stop at Mt. Zion, visit the Dormition Abbey, the traditional Room of the Last Supper-the Cenaculum and the Tomb of King David.
Enter the Old City for a walking tour of the Jewish Quarter, see the recent archaeological excavations, the Cardo, the Broad Wall and visit the Western Wall. Continue to the Christian Quarter passing through the bustling Arab market, visit St.Anna Church and Bethesda Pool, proceed to the convent of the Sisters of Zion, see the Lithostrotos and the Ecce Homo arch, walk along the Via Dolorosa, stop at the Stations of the Cross and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.
In the afternoon continue to West Jerusalem, view of the Israel museum, the Parliament and the Government city, we stop at the picturesque quarter of Ein Kerem where we visit the Church of St.John the Baptist.
