Tour Overview

A 2-day tour focusing on the Bible, ancient and modern history and geography which are interwoven into the fertile Jezreel Valley and the Lower Galilee region, we shall follow the trails of Christianity and Judaism to the Sea of Galilee and experience the spirituality of the land. The Sea of Galilee is the largest fresh water lake of Israel, rich in history and archaeology, dotted with several Israeli settlements and important religious sites all around the lake. The area or as it is called the Valley of Kinrot is Known as one of the most significant sites of the Christian world where Christ met some of his first followers. Our tour will take us to some of those historical and religious sites.

This 2 day tour is a combination of the daily tours "The Galilean Ministry of Christ" with "The Sea of Galilee".

The sequence of the touring days and the pick up times may change.

Confirmation of the tour is subject to hotel availability.

Modest attire is required when visiting the holy sites.

Head cover, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Tour Itinerary

Drive north through the Sharon Plain and the Carmel coast, passing Zichron Yaakov on the way, continue northeast through Menashe hills to Nazareth, renowned as the hometown of Jesus, and an important pilgrimage and religious center. During the time of Jesus Nazareth was a small and insignificant agricultural village, however modern day Nazareth is a bustling, growing city, home to the largest Arab community in Israel. Visit the Church of the Annunciation, the church of St.Jospeh and the old city market. Proceed via Cana of Galilee, view of the church of the Wedding situated on the traditional site of Jesus 1st miracle. Travel through Turan valley to the Sea of Galilee, arrive in Tiberias overlooking the Sea of Galilee for a short sightseeing tour. Tiberias named after Tiberius the Roman Emperor is one of the four holy cities of Judaism in Israel. Drive along the Sea of Galilee passing Magdala and Geinosar on the way, view of Mt. of Beatitudes, visit Tabgha-the church of the Multiplication and Capernaum. We continue further south to the Jordan river where we make a short stop at Yardenit-the baptismal site.

We drive north to the lower Galilee, descending to the Sea of Galilee, 210 meters below sea level passing the city of Tiberias overlooking the Sea of Galilee, our 1st stop is Magdala on the lake shore recently excavted, visit the local ancient synagogue dating from the 2nd temple period. Continue driving around the lake, stop at Kibbutz Geinosar where we visit an ancient fishing boat found in the Sea of Galilee dating from the period of Christ. View of Mt.of Beatitudes where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Our last stop for today is the village of Cana of Galilee, we visit the church of the Wedding where Jesus performed his 1st miracle turning water into wine.

No, these are complete tours. You take the whole package.

We can do any combination- but these will still be daily tours.

No. The Multi day tour is a set group tour, once you have selected your class of choice for hotels, no changes can be made.

Yes, children - 5 years old and older.

We collect from most of the hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, as well as from the major hotels in Netanya and Herzliya. Simply select your hotel from the list of hotels while registering for the desired tour and wait in the hotel lobby at the time indicated. The driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby.

Group tours depart from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Herzliya and Netanya. If your hotel is in one of these cities but is not on the list, please contact us by email and we will provide the nearest pick up location with directions.

On multi-day/weekly tours your luggage accompanies you. Please coordinate the number of suitcases you intend bringing with the office by using the special comments box. It should be noted that we attend to the safety of your belongings but cannot take responsibility for them.

Multi-day/weekly tours are conducted in a single language. We have multi-day/weekly tours in English, Spanish, French and German.

Yes. Children under age 12 receive a 10% discount. It should be noted that children can participate in the tours only when accompanied by an adult.

On all of the tours there is a central location and time allocated for lunch, where you can buy food or eat the sandwiches you have brought along. The tour price does not include lunch.

That depends on the type of disability and an escort. Most group tours are not suited for persons with disabilities, however private tours can be adapted and accessible sites selected.

The price does not include tips. There is usually a collection made by the passengers of 3 dollars per person for the guide and 2 dollars per person for the driver.

The price does not include VAT. Tourists are exempt from VAT for touring services in Israel.

The Multi day/weekly tour prices include the entrance fees for the sites visited.

Tour prices do not include water. It is recommended to bring along a bottle of water or to buy one along the way.
