General Terms and Conditions

 

Dear Traveler,

The following terms and conditions will apply to your reservation unless otherwise stated:

General Conditions

1. All prices are quoted in USD and are valid till February 28 2021.
2. Private tours on Saturdays and Jewish holidays are subject to a supplement.
3. All reservations must be confirmed by Gold Carpet Touring Ltd (hereinafter: “GCT”). GCT reserves the right to cancel tours due to circumstances beyond its control.
4. All reservations must be prepaid.
5. Passengers with special needs must notify our office in advance.
6. Prices for sightseeing don’t include meals and beverages unless otherwise specified in the program.
7. Regular group tours include entrance fees, unless written otherwise.
8. Prices do not include VAT, payment by tourists, VAT=0.
9. Tour itineraries are subject to unforeseen conditions such as political/security/climate situation and are likely to change without prior notice.
10. All tours are conducted by a government licensed tourist guide and vehicle.
11. Valuable belongings should never be left unattended in the vehicle.
12. Tours crossing the border to Egypt/Jordan/Palestinian Authority are subject to responsibility of the local tour operator.
13. GCT acts as a direct or indirect agent between the passengers and the hotels, restaurants, tourist sites etc.,
14. GCT cannot be held responsible for any damage and/or injury which is beyond the control of GCT.

Cancellation policy

Regular daily group tours:

• Up to 48 hours prior to tour commencement $20 cancellation fees per reservation,  from 47 Till 24 hours prior to tour commencement 25% of the total value, thereafter full charge applies.

Regular multi-day group tours:

• Till 14 days prior to tour commencement 25% of the total value apply.
• From 13 days till 7 days prior to tour commencement 50% of the total value apply.
• From 6 days till 3 days prior to tour commencement 75% of the total value apply.
• Less than 3 days till departure date full charge applies.

Regular weekly group tours:

•  Till 14 days prior to tour commencement $100 per person administration fee apply.
• From 13 days till 7 days prior to tour commencement 20% of the total value apply.
• From 6 days till 48 hours prior to tour commencement 30% of the total value apply.
• From 48 hours till 24 hours  prior to tour commencement 50% of the total value apply.
• Less than 24 hours full charge applies.

Organized group tours:

• Regular season – up to 35 days prior to tour commencement no cancellation fees, from 35 days to 14 days 50% of the package price will apply, from 14 days till 7 days 75% of the package price will apply, thereafter no refund.
• High season – up to 40 days prior to tour commencement no cancellation fees, from 40 to 30 days 75% of the package price will apply, thereafter no refund.

Private car tours:

Daily sightseeing tours by a private tourist vehicle (without accommodation):

• Up to 24 hours prior to tour commencement $35 per vehicle, thereafter no refund.

Package tours by a private tourist vehicle (with or without accommodation):

• Regular season – up to 8 days prior to tour commencement no cancellation fees, from 7 days till 72 hours 50% of the package price will apply, thereafter no refund.
• High season – up to 15 days prior to tour commencement no cancellation fees, from 14 days till 7 days 50% of the package price will apply, thereafter no refund.
